The Ashland Newcomers group is made up of around 1,000 members and growing. Many members have moved to Ashland and nearby areas recently, while others have been here for years! Although we call the group the Ashland Newcomers, many members stay involved over the years because they find long lasting friendships and love meeting new people.
The purpose of our group is to help newcomers become better acquainted with activities and events in Ashland and southern Oregon. And, most of all, it is a way to learn about the community, make new friends, find interest groups and learn more about local resources and volunteer opportunities.
Please register to receive our monthly newsletter – which brings news of events, social gatherings and interest groups.
The Social or happy hour is a gathering of newcomers with no particular agenda other than providing an opportunity to meet, socialize and exchange information about Ashland. If you are interested in hosting, contact Karen Grove: firstname.lastname@example.org
